Southtown constituents may access new customer orientations, interview skills, career coaching, networking meetings, Trade Act, resume and cover letter assistance, as well as other free job search services and resources virtually from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact us at 716-270-4444 or onestop@ecc.edu to schedule an appointment for individualized assistance. Free workshops, networking meetings, and other events to help you feel confident and productive.

Virtual workshops such as Getting Better Results with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Basic for Jobseekers, Developing Your Personal Brand, Showing Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion on Your Resume, and Resumes and Cover Letters teach you what you need to know to succeed in today's job market. Our free virtual workshops are synchronous (live) which allow you to interact with our Career Coaches, ask questions, and receive lots of individual attention.

You must be registered with New York State's Career Center system to access Erie County Career Centers' cost-free resources. If you are not registered yet, please attend one of our virtual orientation workshops. Other workshops include:

  • Effective Strategies for Virtual Job Searching

  • Goal Setting Strategies for Career Success - What do you want to achieve for yourself over the next year? If you’re having trouble following through on activities to get you on track, join us for some goal setting strategies.

  • How to Make Your Resume Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Friendly 

  • Orientation for Career Center Jobseekers - Receive information about the cost-free resources/services available to Erie County/WNY jobseekers at our certified career centers. This virtual workshop includes a brief presentation, opportunities to ask questions, job search tips, and one-on-one time with a Career Coach. Please provide your phone number and email address when registering for this workshop. You will be asked to provide information to help us assist you with your job search and career goals.
