About us: The SUNY Erie Career Centers are certified American Job Centers. American Job Centers are designed to provide a full range of assistance to jobseekers under one roof. Authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), we offer cost-free career coaching, professional resume writing services, workshops, local job listings, grant funding training for tuition/books in Erie County's Demand Occupations for eligible individuals, and similar employment-related services.
Location and hours: Visit us at our Gleasner Hall (former Administration Building) Career Center on Youngs Road in Williamsville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Evening hour appointments may be available for individuals who are employed and cannot meet during normal business hours.
Services: For your convenience, most of our career development services are available through in-person, video chats and/or phone appointments. Orientation for Career Center Jobseekers: Receive information about the cost-free resources/services available to Erie County/WNY jobseekers at our certified career centers. This virtual synchronous (live!) workshop includes a brief presentation, opportunities to ask questions, job search tips, and one-on-one time with a Career Coach. Please provide your phone number and email address when registering for this workshop. You will be asked to provide information to help us assist you with your job search and career goals.
